After doing my thesis on the structure of small organic molecules here in Graz and at the university of Linz I switched to protein crystallography during my post doc time at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot (Israel) and the SFI (Sandoz Research Institute) in Vienna (Austria). My main scientific interests are macromolecular crystallography and, after a recent sabbatical at the ESRF (European Synchrotron Radiation Facilities) at Grenoble (France) also time resolved Laue experiments.
